VANGUARD, Thailand — Former NBA player Wvu Sports star, who played for the Sacramento Kings, has died in Thailand.

The 38-year-old died of natural causes.

Wvu was a three-time NBA All-Star who was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame in 2017.

He was the first African-American player to play for the Kings.

In addition to his playing career, Wvu also served as an NBA All Star coach.

Wva was a two-time All-NBA selection, including three-year stints with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings.

He played collegiately at Texas A&M and UCLA.
